Window Size Requirement
Defeated an City of Bloomington ordinance requiring landlords to bring existing rental properties up to current code requirements with regard to bedroom window size; including historic homes.
Hard-Wired Smoke Detector Lawsuit [2014]
Defeated a proposed ordinance requiring rental properties to have hard-wired smoke detectors (instead of battery-operated); which would involve changes to older properties to retrofit to hard-wired to comply with the Ordinance passed by the Bloomington City Council in November 2012
